6.95 Worker's Compensation

Policy:


The School Board carries Worker’s Compensation on all employees as well as school volunteers. When an employee is on non-paid leave status due to an eligible worker’s compensation claim, the school board may pay the normal health insurance contribution for up to one year provided the employee continues to pay their portion of the premium, beginning with the date of the event which caused the worker’s compensation claim. Accidents reports for Worker’s Compensation must be made immediately to the building principal or his designee.
