6.811 Instructional Employee Performance Criteria

Policy:

(1) The Superintendent or designee shall develop and present, for School Board approval, instructional employee performance criteria and/or measures. Such performance criteria and/or measure shall be consistent with statutory requirements, but may include additional elements as deemed appropriate. Student performance data shall be used in the evaluation of instructional personnel. 

(2) Instructional personnel shall be informed of the criteria for assessment including the use of student performance data and indicators of student learning growth. 

(3) The Superintendent shall submit the instructional performance appraisal system to the Department of Education for approval.
