3.21 Chaperones For School Functions

(1) All school functions and activities such as parties, picnics, excursions, and similar activities under sponsorship of the school shall be chaperoned by adults approved by the principal and/or Superintendent. Activities sanctioned by the Florida High School Activities Association shall be governed by the regulations of that association. Activities of vocational student organizations will be governed by rules of the State Board of Education.

(2) All chaperones must be approved as volunteers.
