2.17 Board Travel Expenses

(1) TRAVEL EXPENSES – In addition to the salary provided in Florida Statues 1001.395, each member of the School Board shall be allowed, from the district school fund, reimbursement of traveling expenses as authorized in Florida Statues 112.061; however, any travel outside the district shall be governed by rules and regulations of the state board.

(2) NON-EMPLOYEE TRAVEL EXPENSES – The board may authorize non- employees, who represent the Board at the Board’s request, to be travel expenses outside the district from the district school fund.
